Barry Melrose Is Out

In a move that comes as no surprise to many (except maybe in the swiftness of its action), Tampa Bay Lightning coach Barry Melrose was released today.

Melrose has been under immediate pressure all season to prove that he has the goods to manage after spending the last decade in the broadcast booth. Guess they think he didn't have what it takes.
