Unreal. We were discussing the logistics of why I disapprove of round 1 of the MLB playoff series being only 5 games. I quoted my baseball fanatic co-worker Matt when I shared the sentiment that cutting the regular season down to 160 games and extending the 1st round of the playoffs to 7 games would be ultimate.
And do you know what he said to me?
"Of course you think that. If the regular season was cut down to 160 games, the Mets would have made the playoffs the last 2 years."
Unbelievable.
