Rob Neyer Is My Best Friend

AL MVP Announced

Dustin Pedroia becomes the first Red Sox player since Mo Vaughn to take home the award. He is also the shortest player to achieve such honors, standing most likely a good 2 or 3 inches below his listed 5'9.

Longoria Wins AL Rookie of the Year

I guess stars hasn't seen this yet or there'd be a 47 picture post, but Evan Longoria won the AL Rookie of the Year award by a unanimous vote.


...In other news, former AL Rookie of the Year (2005), Huston Street was traded in a package from the Oakland A's to the Rockies.
